DESCRIPTION:Our Year Six Elementary trip is less than five weeks away and we are getting excited! \nPlease see below for some important details regarding the trip: \nWe will be departing Clanmore at 9am sharp on Monday June 2nd\, and returning Wednesday June 4th at 4pm. \nThe children have gone through the packing list together (attached here)\, which was compiled by students as well as suggestions from Camp Tawingo \nApproximately one week prior to the trip\, we will reach out to you to discuss any medications or particular needs that your child may have that we should be aware of. \nThe children have been great about asking questions about the trip at school. If you have any questions as a parent\, please let us know. You can also look over the Tawingo Outdoor Centre website here:  https://www.tawingooutdoorcentre.net/ \nIf your child has a conflict making them unable to attend the trip\, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can plan appropriately.

A presenter from Scientist in School will be at Clanmore to present "Save Your Energy". The children will discover how energy can be transferred or transformed. Investigate how to launch a ping pong ball into space and use the energy in your body to power wind-up toys. Explore how changing light bulbs and adding insulation can save energy. And learn how to play a tune using solar panels.
