DESCRIPTION:Dear Parents\, \nThe Third Year Casa children are invited to go on an outing to Bronte Creek Provincial Park\, located at 1219 Burloak Dr\, Oakville\, on Thursday\, May 16th\, 2024. \nThe children will be traveling with three Casa teachers by a chartered school bus to Bronte Creek in the morning after arrivals.  The bus is expected to return to the school around 1:30 pm.  \nThe children should dress in full Clanmore uniform\, along with suitable clothing for the day’s weather.  The children will be attending Rain or Shine. We ask that the children arrive with their sunscreen – if needed\, already applied. \nFor the children who are not on the school’s hot lunch program\, parents must provide a nut-free\, disposable packed lunch on this day\, as well as a water bottle.  Please label your child’s lunch and water bottle. For children on the hot lunch program\, a disposable lunch will be provided. Please provide your child with a backpack to put this provided lunch into as well as a water bottle.  \nCharlene Roberts\, Teresa McLean\, and Leila Sairally will accompany the children on this outing\, while the other Casa teachers stay at the school with the remaining Casa children. \nThe cost of this trip is covered by Clanmore. \nWe are looking forward to a fun day!  \nSincerely\,  \nThe Casa Team

Our Dragonboating adventure begins at 9:30\, so in order to have a safe bike ride to the Burloak Canoe Club\, we are planning on leaving Clanmore no later than 8:40.  \nWhat to Wear:We have also discussed with the students that we recommend wearing quick dry clothing (same as the “wet clothes” on Odyssey)\, for tomorrow’s activity instead of their gym uniform. They can wear their gym uniform if they choose\, but it will stay wet longer if they are splashed. An appropriate layer for the weather is also recommended. DESCRIPTION:Students will be picked up from Clarkson Go between 3:45-4:15 on this day\nDear Middle School Families\,\n \nOn Monday\, May 13th the Middle School students will be visiting MiMuseum in Mississauga as a connection to our current Optics Unit in Occupations. We will be taking public transit to the museum\, so we ask that students check the weather and dress accordingly. We also ask students to bring their Presto Cards. We will be buying a group ticket for the GO Train\, so they do not require money to be loaded onto their card as they will only be using it for their free bus ride to the Clarkson GO Station. \nStudents will also require a packed lunch for the day that they will be able to eat on route. If they order pizza\, we have arranged for the pizza to be delivered in time for the students to grab their slices to go. Please have students pack any necessary snacks and a water bottle for the day. \nWe will be returning to Clarkson GO Station at 3:45pm and ask that students get picked up there between 3:45 – 4:15pm on the south side of the tracks.
