DESCRIPTION:Dear Year 6 Families\, \nRe: Moving up to Middle School \nWe are happy to let you know that we have spaces for all Year 6 students to move up to Middle School next year and we would welcome  having your child continue with us at Clanmore as they enter the amazing\, yet vulnerable\, stage of young adolescence. \nAt this time we would like to share with you the process for Expression of Interest and invite you to join us on Friday November 20th so that each family understands our Montessori Middle School and how it is similar and different from Upper Elementary and from traditional Middle Schools.  \n  \nExpression of Interest process: \n\n\nStudent and parent visit to Middle School \n\n\n\n\nFor students –  Friday\, November 20th\, 2026 for the morning. This visit is for all Year 6s. Please let us know if you would like your child to opt out of this visit \n\n\n\n\nFor parents – Friday November 20th at noon. Parents join the Middle School and their child for a community lunch followed by a teacher presentation and Q and A for parents. These special mornings are a wonderful opportunity for you to spend some time outdoors with your child and experience a little part of our school routine. \nOur Brisk Walks will take place on Friday mornings from 8:45–9:15 a.m. at the end of each month. \n\n\n\n \n\nWhat To Do: \n● Arrive with your child at the regular arrival time. \n● Park in the back parking lot. \n● Please wait for us outside the Toddler gates\, where we will meet you and begin our walk together. \n● Depending on the day\, we will either walk to the lake or explore the back forest. \nAs our walks take place outdoors\, weather can sometimes be unpredictable. If we need to cancel due to inclement or uncertain weather\, we will send an email by 8:00 a.m. that morning. \n \nWe hope you’ll be able to join us for one—or even a few—of our Brisk Walks!
