Please use your child’s usual arrival/dismissal door. \nIf you are joining us at Winter Wonderland: \n\nPlease find parking (details below) and walk to your child’s designated door.\nYour child will be dismissed directly into your care\, after which you may head to the Clanmore yard for the festivities.\nPlease note that once you have your child\, supervision becomes your responsibility while in the yard.\n\nIf you are not attending Winter Wonderland: \n\nPlease proceed through the regular car pick-up line.\nStaff will bring your child to your vehicle as usual.\nWe kindly ask for extra caution in the parking lot\, as there will be more foot traffic than on a typical day. SUMMARY:MS Remembrance Day Outing and Library Visit
DESCRIPTION:Tomorrow the Middle School community will be travelling downtown to George's Square to commemorate Remembrance Day. After the ceremony\, we will be going out for lunch to The Works. Students are welcome to order from the menu\, however\, they can also pack their own lunch if they prefer. After lunch\, we have decided to take advantage of our time downtown and visit the Oakville Public Library Central Branch in order to get some resources for some assignments that we currently have on the go\, such as their Costa Rica research for ISW and their sustainability essays that they are working on for Writer's Workshop.  \nStudents will be wearing their #1s for the ceremony\, however\, please remind them to dress for the weather (warm jackets and boots)\, as we will be outside for a good part of the morning. Also\, students have been asked to bring their Presto Cards and their Library Cards. If they are purchasing their lunch from The Works\, we ask that they pay by debit if possible\, and if not\, to bring exact change to cover their meal\, tax and a tip\, as we know most restaurants carry limited cash and often cannot give change to a large group. Please note that there is also a lunch menu that is not included in the link which includes a burger\, fries and a drink for $13.99. \nAt the end of the day\, pick up will be at Lakeside Park on Front Street between 3:50pm and 4:10pm. Students should have this information in their agenda.
