Clanmore Family Picnic

Dear Clanmore Families,

We are absolutely thrilled to once again invite you to the Clanmore Family Picnic that will take place in the Southeast Sports Field located directly behind the school.

This family event invites you all to gather and celebrate the end of this amazing school year.

Please pack a picnic lunch, your sunscreen, and a blanket, and come along to enjoy the many fun fair activities coordinated by the Clanmore Staff.

Please do not park outside of the designated parking spots in the adjacent lot.  We will provide you with alternative parking when the lot is full

A few Safety Reminders:

• We ask that you please self-monitor. If you or your family feel unwell, please stay home.

• As it is tick season, we encourage you to check your children and yourself after the event. 

• As this is a family event and the park is not fenced, we ask that you please keep your eyes on your children, especially the little ones.

• Clanmore School will be open and available for washroom use.

• Parking will be available at the “southeast” parking lot, with the entrance just past the school parking lot on Armiger Lane. It will be a busy place, so please use caution when driving and walking through.  There is a bushy area near the entrance to the park.  If you walk around it, you can avoid a great deal of the parking lot en route between the school and the field. We encourage any families living nearby to walk or bike to the event.

• If you park your car on any side street, please park only on the east side

• As is tradition, there will be snow cones and popcorn this year.  These items will only be available at the school at the east porch near the Toddler playground, so be sure to grab a treat on your way in or out of the picnic!

In the event of rain, the picnic will be canceled.  We will contact families via email.  Unfortunately, there is no rain date.
