Toddler: Parent-Child Music Program

Dear Toddler Parents,

We are looking forward to our annual Parent-Child Music Program. This program will take place during the month of May. Parents are invited to join us for some fun and music with the children every Friday during the month of May  (with the exception of May 15th – Victoria Day weekend ). It is a four-week program based on the Musikgarten Curriculum that Clanmore uses in all our preschool programs.

Classes are led by our Toddler Music Teacher, Cosima Loranger, who is an exceptional singer & songwriter with extensive knowledge of the Musikgarten program and has been using the curriculum over the last 8 years at Clanmore Montessori School.

Classes will take place every Friday (May 1st, 8th, 22nd and 29th) 10:45 am to 11:15 am in the Toddler Room. Please arrive at the front entrance, gather and head to the Toddler Room where your children will be waiting for you. It is a wonderful time to bond through music and movement with your little one and an opportunity to add more songs to your repertoire. In addition to learning new songs, there will be pitch matching, rhythmic patterning, and keeping a steady beat with instruments.

Please note that we would be delighted to see grandparents, aunts, uncles, or nannies​ in the event that a parent is unable to join us.

At 11:15 am half-day children will go home with their parents and full-day children will stay in the class and get ready for outdoor play. Full-day parents who would like to take their children home are welcome to.
